MAISON O

Maison O is a high-energy Japanese restaurant located in New York’s Nolita neighborhood. Helmed by acclaimed sushi chef Tadashi Ono, Maison O features classic Japanese ramen and sushi upstairs and a film-noir-punk-art-house karaoke lounge basement that infamously rages well past your bedtime.

Farewell designed the Maison O website to echo the frenetic pace and flickering neon lights of Tokyo’s Kabukicho district by bombarding the viewer with optical art and animated images. The site was controversial, and possibly seizure inducing: Some love it, some hate it. You be the judge.
